How much does OPM pay?

Return to FAQs

Transcript:

If approved for OPM disability retirement, you are entitled to 60% of your wages for the first year and 40% thereafter up through age 62. How they determine that 60% is they look at your high three. They average out your best three years of earnings and whatever that comes to for those three years, that would be the number they go off of when they do the 60% number and the 40% number.
