Does the location of my attorney matter for a Federal Workers’ Compensation claim?

Return to FAQs

Transcript:

The location of your attorney doesn’t really matter at all and that’s because the entire claim is done electronically and by telephone. In most instances the paperwork is going to be done electronically and uploaded to the Department of Labor and the Office of Workers Comp programs, and if there’s any hearings they’re always done telephonically. So, no, it doesn’t matter where your attorney is actually physically located in relation to you.
