Return to FAQs

Transcript:

OPM disability retirement is administered through the Office of Personal Management for federal employees who can no longer perform the jobs that they were hired to do or an accommodated position. If approved, they can get a supplemental payment through age 62 and get their insurance benefits covered just as they did when they were working. They can allow work in a new job and earn up to 80% of the salary in the prior job.
