What conditions would qualify me for Social Security disability?

Return to FAQs

Transcript:

The actual conditions that you may have is not actually the determining factor in a Social Security Disability claim. It really comes down to whether or not the conditions you have keep you from working on a regular basis. So you may have a number of two or three different conditions that together combine to make it impossible for you to work eight hours a day, five days a week, and it’s that combination of conditions that would allow you to receive Social Security Disability. So be sure to list all conditions that affect your ability to work in any way.
