Should I get an attorney if my Social Security disability claim is denied?

Return to FAQs

Transcript:

If your claim is denied, it is probably because the Social Security Administration did not see enough medical evidence to provide you with an approval. Therefore it would probably help you to obtain the services of an attorney, so they can better prep your claim and work with your doctors to show all the injuries or diseases that you may have that influence your ability to work, and match them up with the standards for disability set out by the Social Security Administration.
