Does a pre-existing injury preclude me from receiving a schedule award?

Return to FAQs

Transcript:

You can receive a schedule award if a preexisting injury was made worse by your on-the-job activity. So for instance, if you already had a damage wrist from years passed, but then you re-injure that wrist on the job and it was made worse, then you would be entitled to an evaluation for impairment, and a determination for payment of a schedule award.
